Each year the Army ROTC Unit from Eastern New Mexico University sponsors the Bataan Memorial March honoring those in the Bataan Death March on the Island of Luzon in 1942.

The 26 mile march takes place on White Sands Army Missle Base near Las Cruces, New Mexico. It is an international event. Last year, over 7,000 entrants participated.

The Bataan Academy Battalion team memers completed the march. One team member, ran the 26 miles. The event is held during the month of March. If you want to participate, start early. Twenty-six miles is a long way. Go, Sea Lions!
